User Agreement

Website Terms of Use  |  Gerard Law Group, Inc.  |  gerard-law.com

Effective date: October 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs your use of www.gerard-law.com (the “Website”), which is operated by Gerard Law Group, Inc. (“the Firm”). By using the Website, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Information Only; No Legal Advice

The Website provides general information about the Firm and its services. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer who knows the facts of your situation. Laws change, and the information on the Website may not reflect the most recent developments. Please do not act, or decline to act, based on the Website alone.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Visiting the Website, reading its content, or contacting the Firm by email or telephone does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship begins only when the Firm agrees in writing to represent you. Until then, please do not send confidential or sensitive information about your matter, and understand that the Firm may be unable to keep such information confidential or may have a conflict of interest that prevents it from representing you.

4. Licensed Jurisdiction

The Firm’s attorney is licensed to practice law in California. Nothing on the Website is intended as legal advice on the law of any other jurisdiction, and the Website is not an offer to represent anyone in a jurisdiction where the Firm’s attorney is not licensed.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Descriptions of the Firm’s services or of the attorney’s prior experience are for general information only. They are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of the outcome of any matter. Every legal matter is different.

6. Intellectual Property

The content of the Website, including its text, design, and logos, belongs to the Firm or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the Website and print or save a copy for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from the Website’s content without the Firm’s written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Website for any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any related systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Website; or
  • use automated tools to copy or collect content from the Website without permission.

8. Links to Other Websites

The Website may link to other websites for your convenience. The Firm does not control those websites, is not responsible for their content or practices, and does not endorse them. Your use of any other website is at your own risk and subject to that website’s own terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Firm does not promise that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm and its attorneys, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or reliance on its content. Nothing in this Agreement limits any duty the Firm owes to its clients under the California Rules of Professional Conduct or other applicable law, or limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also subject to the Firm’s Privacy Policy, which is available on the Website and explains how information is handled.

12. Changes to the Website and This Agreement

The Firm may change or discontinue the Website, or update this Agreement, at any time. The updated Agreement will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Agreement.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from your use of the Website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Severability

If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
